A while back I’d picked up a copy of The Prayer Book of Michelino Da Besozzo. It’s got a lot of nice examples from the original prayer book to include illumination and calligraphy. I’d planned on using one of the plates for a scroll at some point. The last time I went to visit my Laural, she presented me with a scroll blank in progress. The pencil work had been done as had the gold leaf.
