Originally this had been done as a fun quote piece in my practice book. It turned out REALLY well, and I shared it on various social media. Katie fell in love with it. Neither of us could convince me to cut it from my book, so she requested a framable recreation.
The original was done with a Pilot Parallel 2.4mm nib and Robert Oster Fire & Ice ink. This one was done with the same ink but a 2mm Tape dip nib. Had to mat it out, but it turned out excellent.
I was honestly surprised how well the ink worked with a dip nib. In my experience, fountain pen inks are a little too thin and tend to drip off the nibs but this behave exceedingly well!
